In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, Moroccan skills have attested to the world the capacity of the Kingdom to demonstrate responsiveness, agility and efficiency. Moroccan industrialists have demonstrated their ability to manufacture products and equipment to international standards capable of meeting both local demand and export markets.
The bank of industrial projects launched by the Ministry is part of the new industrial recovery plan (2021-2023). This new strategy is based on the introduction of a policy of import substitution, the strengthening of Moroccan capital in industry, and the decarbonization of industry to preserve and strengthen exports.
Several industrial branches are represented through a hundred projects presented in the form of project sheets. The objective of the sheets is to give a global vision of the main opportunities for accelerating the domestic market. The ambition is to make accessible general perspectives based on public data and interviews with experts and industrialists of each sector. A unit called War-Room, made up of more than 25 dedicated people and several central directors, has been set up within the Ministry to support project leaders in the different phases of their project development.
